My name is Miho Hirano. I’m from Ishikawa. Ishikawa faces the Japan Sea on the north. It takes me about 5 hours from here by car. My home town is not big city but have a beautiful nature. My grandfather is a fisherman and I used to go to the beach. My mother and my father live Nanao city. They are easy-going and funny!! I have elder sister. She is a cook at “Budounoki”. I love my family and my home town but I enjoy living alone. I live in Nagakute. I’m a member of NUFS badminton club and I do a part time job. So my life is hard but enjoyable!!
In last class, my presentation technique gets better than before. Voice control and slide and attitude and so on. I like listening everyone's presentation.

Reflection

This class is very useful for me, because I can learn how to make a presentatipon well. I am poor at computer so I tried hard every time. Simon's some pieces advice helped me a lot. The number of this class is just good in that I can listen many presentations.

Language Lounge

I’m going to present an interview about Language Lounge. In this interview, I asked my senior who has been there.

My first question is “What started you on going to Language Lounge?”
She answered that she wanted to make a foreign friend when she was 1st grade student. And then she was invited coming there.

Second, I asked her “How often do you go there?”
She said she usually go there once in 2 weeks.

Final question is “What advantage in going there do you think?”
She answered that we can make friends with foreign student and get informal phrase in their conversation.

Many students may think they could not part in that, but it’s not right.
Everyone can go there whenever you want.
There is no tension, fear, and requirement.
We have only to enjoy a conversation with foreign students.

★ RECYCLING　SHOP★

I am going to introduce a recycled-goods shop near NUFS.

When you move to a new house, you may bother to clean out unnecessary goods, or buy a piece of furniture.
If you use them during your stay in Japan only, why don’t you make use of recycling shop?

First, I am showing Second Street.
It offers variety goods and you may find anything what you want.

This shop’s the best advantage is that a staff comes your home and takes your furniture or something you are selling to the shop.
So you don’t have to bring your goods by yourself .
A staff will come, carry them and assess them for free!!!

Second street is in the Nagakutecho.
From NUFS, you go down the street two block and turn to the left. Then, you go straight the Irigaike street and turn left at Green load.
You will find it on the right side. It takes about 15 minute by bike from NUFS.
Second street is held at 10 am.

Beaune Wine Festival

I’m going to introduce the history of this festival.

Each year on third Sunday of November, Beaune welcomes wine lover from all over the world for this famous festival.
Many activities will take place all over the weekend: parade, street shows, wine tastings and wine auction.

The main event of this festival is Wine Auction!!
Originally, this festival originated from a charity wine auction.
The auction was started to make money for the operation and maintenance of the patient and facilities by selling a wine.
This wine made in the hospital’s fields 146 years ago.

『The History of Rhodes』
　I am going to introduce the history of Rhodes.　
　In the ancient Greek times, Rhodes prospered and they spend peaceful time but Roman Empire　attacked the city and it declined. Time went on, in the 14th century of further east from Rome, there was a fight against Turkey. Rome, however, lost and gave back to Rhodes. So they built a fort and palace.
In 1989, the fort and palace was registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

　I want to see the heritage. When you go there, please visit Parthenon and Rhodes.

Sanrio Puro Land

I’ll present a restaurants and amusements in sanrio puro land.

First, I’m going to show some restaurants.
Yakata no restaurant offers a smorgasbord.
This restaurant’s menu are full of variety and the price is fixed.
So, all of your family and friends can be satisfied with the meal.
In lunch and dinner time, there are pleasing show stages.

Second, I’m going to show you a cafeteria restaurant.
This restaurant has a standard and popular meals.
When you want to eat a cheap usual dish, you should go there.

Finally, I’m going to show a souvenir shop.
We have an image that sanrio is for children, but there are many goods for adult.
“Vivitix”, is in the fourth floor of sanrio puyu land, have a lot of souvenir.
This shop has a popularity among young people and mothers.
As you can see, there are a ties, bags, cosmetics, and so on.
If you go sanrio puyu land, why don’t you visit “Vivitix” !!!!

Sanrio puro land will entertained you with singing and dancing.
